About the team

The team consists of two delivery teams, each has a solution delivery manager leading the team, a business analyst, and consultants.

 

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Atlassian Consultant based in Nicosia, Cyprus to join forces with our talented team of solution consultants.

You will be working both remotely and at our enterprise customers premises in Nicosia (hybrid model), supporting our customers closely throughout the phases of solution assessment, design, implementation, deployment and the delivery of Atlassian tools mostly in the banking sector.

 

As a Technical Atlassian Consultant you will be part of a scrum team, reporting to you team’s Solution Delivery Manager.

Apart from being the point of reference for the Atlassian solutions installed in Nimaworks client, you will be managing various projects for different customers and in various industries either on-site (Nicosia) or remotely

 

What you'll be doing

- Be the point of reference for the Atlassian products and solutions installed for Nimaworks clients (on-site presence required on customer’s premises)

- Participates in project delivery and offer 2nd level support to Nimaworks clients (remote)

- Guides, assists and trains end-users on the use of JIRA/Confluence 

- Works with Nimaworks or/and Atlassian support for defect analysis and solution analysis and implementation 

- Understands business and customer needs and translates them into technical requirements / product configuration. Undertakes part or whole of the delivery in collaboration with other members of the delivery team 

- Participates in all team planning, coordinating and analysis activities (internal analysis meetings, daily stand-ups, project planning, retrospectives)

- Offers 2nd level support to clients, taking over any issues that have been escalated by the support engineers 

- Creates and updates technical and user-facing documentation and standard operating procedures and guides 

- Communicates effectively with clients regarding incidents, questions and clarifications as necessary 

- Remains up to date on all Nimaworks products, including new features, changes on offerings, etc., and is fluent in describing those, understands how customer needs can be covered 

 

What we're looking for

- Completed studies in the field of business informatics or a comparable course of studies

- Experience in technology consulting services and software configuration

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken

- To be a car owner - for client on-site support (fuel reimbursement provided)

- Flexibility for occasional traveling to Greece (during onboarding and quarterly)

- Strong customer relations skills for client-facing work

- Good written and oral communication skills

- Ability to work independently and have good organizational skills 

- Ability to work in a team and communication are among your strengths

- Desirable knowledge of Atlassian products (e.g. Jira Software, Jira Service Management) as well as agile development methods (e.g. Scrum)

- Desirable conceptual and practical understanding of Agile frameworks

- Desirable ITSM/ESM expertise or ITIL certified
